Liquids Are Not the Same As Water!

Health Tip of the Day
"Getting Fit. . . One Step at a Time"

To properly hydrate your body, drink
at least 64 ounces of pure water daily.
Consuming tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, sodas and fruit drinks will not adequately hydrate your body.

Remember to drink only filtered water, not tap water, for best results. Encourage your children to drink water also.

It's HOT! Are You Hydrated?

Health Tip of the Day
"Getting Fit. . . One Step at a Time"

Are you well hydrated? A good way to know if you are hydrated is to check the color of your urine. It should be pale yellow or have almost no color.

One way to help children remain hydrated is to put a teensy bit of Stevia in their water bottles. Stevia tastes sweet without the deliterous effects of sugar....and it feeds the pancreas.

To get your kids to eat it: Just grind it up really small and hide it in the salad or the salad dressing.

Sleep is interwoven with every facet
of daily life. It affects our health
and well-being, our moods and behavior, our energy and emotions, our marriages and jobs, our very sanity and happiness.
Peter Hauri PhD

Dr. Ellouise: One way to help you sleep better is to have some lavender in a small cloth pillow. Shake it or microwave it just before bed and the aroma will help you sleep.

This works for children too!
