Foods That Could Save Your Sight!

THe following foods have been shown to protect your eyesight:
1. Spinach has lutein in it which protects the macula from cell damage and so it protects against cataracts and macular degeneration.
2. Blackberries contain anthocyanins which lower blood pressure and improve blood flow to the eye which also protects against macular degeneration.
3. Soy has isoflavones which improve tear production which protects against dry eye.
4. Orange bell peppers have Zeaxanthin whic protects the retina from dmaging effects of light and oxidative stress which protects against macular degeneration.

So.....eat your veggies! Mom was right!
