A simple tasty way to prepare sweet potatoes is to peel and slice them into strips, spread them on a baking sheet, lightly spray with canola oil or olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt, pepper and cinnamon. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

A variation is to do the same thing but leave off the pepper and cinnamon and substitute rosemary. The smell is magnificent! And the taste is incredible!

A natural salt and oil scrub will help your skin shed its old dead cells and leave your skin smooth and soft.

To make a natural salt and oil scrub, mix one cup of dry Epsom salt with one-Tablespoon organic vegetable oil. Rub the salt and oil mixture all over your skin while standing in the bathtub or shower. Rinse well.

Consuming tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, sodas and fruit drinks will not adequately hydrate your body.

Remember to drink only filtered water, not tap water, for best results. Encourage your children to drink water also.

It's HOT! Are You Hydrated?

Are you well hydrated? A good way to know if you are hydrated is to check the color of your urine. It should be pale yellow or have almost no color.

One way to help children remain hydrated is to put a teensy bit of Stevia in their water bottles. Stevia tastes sweet without the deliterous effects of sugar....and it feeds the pancreas.
