Smoking is linked to 1 in every 5 deaths. Smoking is associated with 29% of all cancer deaths, 87% of all lung cancer deaths, and nearly 20% of all deaths from heart disease. Smoking accelerates the drying and wrinkling of the skin, increases the buildup in plaque in arteries, can lead to chronic bronchitis and emphysema, reduces bone mass and can lead to impotence.
